The Happenings At Sew More For U

Hi,

Well it's been a few busy days, again, seems to be that way all the time lately.

No sewing done, but mainly because I am getting back my old sewing room after nearly 2 years. My daughter has bought her own apartment and we have been housing all her goods and chattels, which I have not minded at all, it's been great having her home for that time and at least this time she has only moved to the other of town and not the other side of the country.

But now I get my sewing room back and this time I want to set it up properly, so I'm not going to rush it. Only important sewing jobs will get done, the rest can wait until my room is ready.

Then it will be warm sewing, we are coming into winter here in the southern hemisphere and the lovely long cozy skirts, and those knitted fabrics I haven't tried to sew yet, will be top of the list. I love the first flush of cold weather and always like to have something new, ready to wear.

Although this year I may be running a little late.

I have started another blog for my sewing site, Sew More For U and guess what the blog is called.....Sew More For U and hopefully I'll be able to get some great and informative articles for you to read over there.

The 4th week of the trial Basic pattern Drafting Course is just about to go out, on Monday actually and hopefully it's going well.

Those subscribed to the Sewing Extra Tips Newsletter seem to be enjoying the info they are getting. The actually newsletter goes out each fortnight but when someone signs up they get great tips for a couple of weeks and they are great tips too.
